I will be hosting a writer’s workshop on Sept. 15 at my family’s ranch near Nisland, S.D. It is going to be a great day of relaxed but structured writing time and learning from Dan. Here are the details:
Featured Speaker — Author Dan O’Brien is one of the most powerful literary voices on the Plains. Described by the New York Times as “a writer with a keen and poetic eye…”, his novels include, The Spirit of the Hills, In the Center of the Nation, Brendan Prairie, The Contract Surgeon, The Indian Agent and Stolen Horses and numerous memoirs about life in the Great Plains. Dan will be talking about his writing career and sharing tips for other writers.
